What is this location? They could have an interchange with JRL at Teban but now what? A station in the middle of nowhere?
If They integrate the paid areas of both the Jurong Lake District MRT together with Jurong Town Hall MRT, then kudos to them!!!
That will be the first time 2 separate stations have a paid link between them
Concept is similar to Plaza Rakyat-Merdeka station complex.
& Muzium Negara-KL Sentral Stesen Kompleks
they could have more unpaid links. many stations are near each other. they should give people the option to tap out and walk to the station and count as a transfer if it is within the time limit. example being rochor & jalan besar (skip the DT1 loop), esplanade & city hall, marina south & marina south pier is literally side by side, bencoolen & bras basah etc
Paid links are better, no need to tap out and then tap in
Supposingly to hv the future high speed rail direct link from this Station Singapore to Kl Bandar Station for those who wanted to travel malaysia via trains. Ended up cancelled and revived the huge railway projects.
i think people working in jurong will have a break taking the bus to jurong
