Initial Announcement
Plans for two bus services serving Jurong Town Hall Bus Interchange (160 & 870) first emerged in October 2023, as mentioned within LTA Travel Guides outlining transportation options for residents of HDB Plantation Village.
Details of the new Jurong Town Hall bus interchange along with the route amendments in tandem with the opening of the new bus interchange were announced by the Land Transport Authority on 3 November 2023.

I think there is a very good chance that service 984 will be allocated berth B4, since it is empty for now.
Such a waste to allocate svc 79 to Berth B3 with 160. Could have used berth B4 since no bus svcs use it.
I believe is because of CW3/4/4S reasons. Causeway Link is badly crowded as well. What if they need space?
Let them use Berth 3 is still more way nearer. Think about it
