Pedestrian Night on Orchard Road will involve the closure of a 660-metre section of Orchard Road, between the junction of Scotts Road/Patterson Road and the junction of Bideford Road/Orchard Link between 1800hrs to 2300hrs. The six-month long arrangement will take place on the first Saturday of every month till March 2015, starting from Saturday, 4th October 2014. The success of the Pedestrian Night has led to a new wave of Pedestrian Nights on Orchard Road on the first Saturday of every month from Saturday, 4th July 2015 to Saturday, 5th December 2015.

The Pedestrian Night initiative has been extended to 6 Feb 2015 to cover the cancelled nights in October and November due to the haze situation.

The bus services listed above will be diverted during Pedestrian Night. All other bus services that call at the above-mentioned bus stops will not be diverted as their operating hours do not coincide with Pedestrian Night.

Due to the diversion, the following bus services will skip bus stop 13191 Paterson Lodge along Paterson Road, along with bus stop 09048 Lucky Plaza.

All diverted bus services, except 14, 16, 65 & 175 eastbound will call at bus stop 13199 Paterson Lodge (Paterson Road) during Pedestrian Night. Services 14, 16, 65 & 175 westbound will still continue to call at this bus stop. Commuters who are traveling to Tang Plaza, Lucky Plaza or Orchard MRT should alight here and walk to their destination.

During the diversion, traveling time on affected services will increase due to the heavy traffic along Grange Road and Orchard Link. Do plan additional traveling time if you are heading towards the city during Pedestrian Night.

The following events listed below also involves the closure of Orchard Road from Scotts Rd to Bideford Rd. As a result, the bus diversions for these events will be the same as Pedestrian Night.
