Express Shuttle 31: Kent Ridge—HarbourFront Shuttle Bus Service

Express Shuttle E31 is a Rail Replacement Service plying between Kent Ridge – HarbourFront, serving selected en-route Circle Line (CCL) stations.

The shuttle bus service operates during Weekday Morning & Evening Peak Hours (except Public Holidays) from 22 January 2024 to 5 April 2024, complementing a reduced Circle Line service where trains operate a Single Platform Service between Telok Blangah and HarbourFront. The modified service facilitates track works connecting HarbourFront station to the new CCL Stage 6 extension.

Originally planned to operate till 24 May 2024, the Land Transport Authority announced that normal train service will resume on 6 April 2024 with the early completion of works. As a result, the last day for Express 31 will be on Friday, 5 April 2024.

The Express Shuttle Bus Service serves the following MRT Stations:

Express Shuttle E31 will only operate on weekdays (except Public Holidays) from 22 January 2024 to 5 April 2024, both days inclusive. The bus service complements the reduced Circle Line service between Kent Ridge and HarbourFront, to facilitate track works connecting HarbourFront station to the new CCL Stage 6 extension.

Express Shuttle E31 only calls at Kent Ridge, Labrador Park, Telok Blangah and HarbourFront MRT stations. It does not serve Haw Par Villa & Pasir Panjang MRT stations.

Double-deck buses were deployed from 22 January 2024 till 9 February 2024. Thereafter, only single-deck buses are deployed on E31.

Charges regular distance fare based on the distance between MRT Stations by rail. Train, bus and hybrid concession passes are accepted, and distance fare rules apply.
