Shuttle 7: Tampines—Tanah Merah Shuttle Bus Service

Shuttle 7 is a Rail Replacement Service for the East West Line (EWL), plying between Tampines – Tanah Merah.

The route will be activated to operate in December 2024, as EWL train services are suspended for 4 days between Tanah Merah and Tampines for a series of works to facilitate the connection of tracks from the existing East-West Line to the East Coast Integrated Depot in preparation for its opening in 2026.

Update: Normal EWL train service resumed on Tuesday, 10 December 2024.

The Shuttle Bus Service operates on days of Full Closure between Tanah Merah – Tampines on the EWL in December 2024, namely:

  • Saturday 7 December 2024
  • Sunday 8 December 2024

  • Tuesday 10 December 2024

Shuttle 7 operated only until about 9:30am on 10 Dec 2024, where EWL train service was fully resumed from the start of operating hours one day ahead of schedule.

    The buses can use tampines concourse bus int to layover.
