When SMRT Buses launched their second-generation livery, this Mercedes-Benz Citaro and another Mercedes-Benz OC500LE were the first buses to be launched in these colours. Only one another Mercedes-Benz Citaro (SMB179D) received the new livery prior to the Bus Contracting Model.
