Bus Service 146 serves new housing estates in Bidadari and along Hougang Street 13, connecting them to the various nearby MRT Stations such as Bartley, Woodleigh & Kovan, as well as amenities such as The Woodleigh Mall.
Within Bidadari town, the service serves the new housing estates such as:
- Woodleigh Hillside
- Woodleigh Glen
- Woodleigh Village
- Alkaff Courtview
- Alkaff Oasis
- Alkaff Lakeview
At launch, the route started and ended at pair of bus stops along Bartley Road (start: Aft Upp Paya Lebar Rd; end: Bef Upp Paya Lebar Rd) while looping at Bidadari Park Drive with buses performing layovers at Hougang Bus Depot. With the opening of Woodleigh Integrated Transport Hub on 20 Apr 2025, the route was amended to be a bi-directional service from both Woodleigh Bus Interchange and Bartley Road.
The route was extended to loop at Hougang Street 21 (Kovan Hub), via Hougang Ave 3, Hougang Close, Hougang Ave 1, Tampines Rd and Kovan MRT Station under the Land Transport Authority’s Bus Connectivity Enhancement Programme (BCEP) in December 2025.
Future Plans
With the extension of Service 146 to loop at Hougang St 21 in December 2025, 2 pairs of new bus stops are planned to be served by Service 146 in the future. These are:
- 1 pair along Hougang Close
- 1 pair along Hougang Ave 1

Back to Bus Services

146 will be based from Hougang Depot (HGDEP), and it will go via Bartley Road East for now.
Okay, with that, we have the first confirmed bus service at the future Woodleigh Bus Interchange.
Presumably, 146 buses will use HGDEP for layovers. Once Bidadari Int is complete, I think 146 will either be extended to loop at Hougang Ctrl or Kovan MRT via Upp Serangoon Rd, Hougang St 21 and Hougang Ave 1. If its the latter, 115 can be discontinued already.
Agree with u on the possible merge with 115. 146 likely covers the future BTOs along Hougang Ave 1. Will be a mid distance trunk service like 116.
Meanwhile 116 itself can merge with 506.
Likely to be under Serangoon-Eunos package. And they should just take the Citaros, leave the MAN A22s alone for SMRT to use for JW.
Nice, good to see the first dedicated route from Bidadari and to connect residents with both Woodleigh and Bartley stations. Hope for more routes to serve the inside parts as well.
