Peak Period Short Service 268PÂ was a Peak Period Short Service (PPSS) between Ang Mo Kio Avenue 9 and Ang Mo Kio MRT, passing through Ang Mo Kio Avenue 4 and 3. Operating during weekday peak hours, it ran alongside Townlink 268 and alleviated crowding on high-demand sectors during peak hours. It was replaced by SBS Transit Short Trip Services 268B & 268C and withdrawn on 1 Sep 2016.

Service 268P duplicated Townlink 268, serving between Ang Mo Kio Avenue 9 and Ang Mo Kio MRT during the weekday peak hours. It operates unidirectional trips towards Ang Mo Kio MRT during morning peak hours, and trips in the reverse direction during evening peak hours.
Operated using private coaches from Commute Solutions and BT & Tan Transport, the route helps to relieve frequent overcrowding on Service 268. It is the fourth PPSS service to be introduced.
Peak Period Short Services operate at least five trips per hour during weekday morning & evening peak periods. This initiative taps on the resources of Private Bus Operators to run shorter bus services to augment the resources of the Public Transport Operators (PTOs).
With the transition to the Bus Contracting Model (BCM), PPSS 268P was renumbered to Short Trip Services 268B & 268C and operated by SBS Transit from 1 Sep 2016. More information at Changes to PPSS.
