Woodleigh Bus Interchange is an Integrated Transport Hub (ITH) located at Bidadari, serving residential areas around Bidadari, Joo Seng and Potong Pasir.
Opened on 20 April 2025, the interchange is the first air-conditioned underground bus interchange to be built beneath public housing flats. It forms part of the HDB Woodleigh Village mixed-use development, comprising 330 Build-to-Order (BTO) flats, a hawker centre, retail shops and other community amenities.

Interchange Layout
Located at Basement 2 of Woodleigh Village, it is the first underground air-conditioned bus interchange below Housing Board Flats in Singapore.
An indicative layout plan of Woodleigh Bus Interchange reveals a bus park with 18 bus lots—15 rigid bus lots and 3 articulated bus lots. Buses enter and exit the interchange via a combined entrance/exit leading to Bidadari Park Drive. Plans were slightly changed with the conversion of 3 lots into 2 lots as of the actual opening in April 2025.
The passenger concourse features three sawtooth boarding berths and a linear alighting berth with space for 2 buses. In provisioning for articulated bus operations, one boarding berth and one alighting berth are designed to accommodate 18-metre-long buses.
Underground passageways connect the interchange concourse with both The Woodleigh Mall and Woodleigh MRT Station.

Brief History:
Plans for Woodleigh Bus Interchange were first revealed in a Straits Times article back in September 2014, referencing design briefs issued by the Housing & Development Board (HDB). The interchange would be built underneath HDB flats, as part of an integrated transport, commercial and residential project that will form the estate’s town centre. The interchange was then slated for completion in 2019.
The interchange would be sited within the HDB Woodleigh Village, an integrated development comprising 3 residential blocks totalling 330 residential units, a hawker centre, (Woodleigh Village Hawker Centre), a childcare centre, a Residents’ Committee, and other future community amenities. The interchange site is bordered by Upper Serangoon Road to the west; Woodleigh Link to the north; Bidadari Park Drive to the east; and Heritage Walk (former Upper Aljunied Road) to the south.
In February 2024, a Straits Times article reported that the interchange was expected to be completed in end-2024, representing a delay of five years; this was revised to a three-year delay following a clarification from the HDB, which stated that the project was due for completion in 2021 based on the construction contract that was eventually awarded. HDB attributed the delays to “significant engineering challenges” and the COVID-19 pandemic, due to the design complexity of integrating the bus interchange, hawker centre and MRT station, and extensive work needed to skirt or divert around underground utilities.
Construction was complete in December 2024 with the obtainment of the temporary occupation permit. The Housing Board was in the process of handing over the interchange to LTA as of January 2025. At the Committee of Supply Debate 2025 in Mach, opening of the interchange was announced to be “in the coming months”.
The interchange officially opened on 20 April 2025, accompanied by the introduction of new Bus Service 148 and the amendment of existing Bus Service 146 into Woodleigh Bus Interchange.
Pre-opening Renaming:
The interchange was previously called Bidadari Bus Interchange, as referenced within the Land Transport Master Plan 2040 and exit directory signages at Woodleigh MRT station (as of May 2023).
The interchange was renamed to Woodleigh ITH sometime in late 2023. This is referenced in the LTA travel guide for the HDB Alkaff Breeze BTO project (Link), and the launch poster for Bus Service 146 released in January 2024.

101(81 amend to end at seragoon while 101 amends to bidadri
Shorten bus 154 and extend bus 60 to Bidadari
Gotta feeling that Bus 506 might be shorten to Bidadari instead of Bus 107
Shorten 154 to Bidadari yah
bidadari should be opening soon and i had nothing to do so here are a few amendments that i predict or suggest:
28: might be shortened from toa payoh to bidadari, turning onto the extended bidadari park drive after bartley mrt. 129 serves as an alternative route and will serve the bus stops it currently skips along bartley and braddell road to replace 28
61: might be shortened from eunos to bidadari, turning onto upper aljunied road from macpherson road and following 135 to the interchange. as a replacement, 150 can be extended from eunos along 61’s deleted sectors up to macpherson road, then to upper serangoon road, finally terminating at bidadari
81: extended to bidadari, either via upper serangoon road or via serangoon ave 1, then to bidadari park drive when it gets extended to the bartley road junction, aligning with avenue 1, to benefit commuters within bidadari estate
82: like 81, extended to bidadari via upper serangoon road, then amended to serve 107/107M’s lost sector at hougang central (see below). serves as a replacement for 107/107M
107/107m: shortened to bidadari, replaced by 82
108 [new]: not something i consider likely but a suggestion, between bidadari and caldecott mrt (loop) via jalan toa payoh and toa payoh mrt, connecting bidadari to the north south, circle and thomson-ec lines
135: saw this in an earlier comment – shortened to bidadari, skipping ang mo kio and serangoon. alternatives are 133 and 853/853M from ang mo kio and serangoon to woodleigh
142/??? [new]: perhaps it will be extended to bidadari, serving the potong pasir estate in both directions, but i personally feel like introducing another feeder to loop at potong pasir would be a better solution
150: as mentioned above, extended from eunos to replace 61
???W/G [new]: another suggestion – bidirectional clockwise/anticlockwiase feeder that can replace 28, plying bidadari park drive, bartley mrt and mount vernon road before returning to the interchange
with 18 parking lots this a bit ambitious eh
Also consider amending 119. After kovan MRT, turn left follow 113 route until junction of hougang St 11 remain straight turn right at junction then turn left and straight until biarritz
