On 24 June 2025, Member of Parliament for Punggol GRC Ms Sun Xueling revealed in a social media post that new trunk bus service 104 between Punggol Coast & Woodleigh is planned to commence in the coming months.
Key catchment areas for Service 104 in the Punggol area were shared, such as the Sumang / Matilda and Northshore areas. Service 104 would bring direct connections for Punggol residents to Sengkang, Buangkok, Serangoon, and Woodleigh.

Random little finding: 104 is at Berth 4 of PGC ITH (im prob a little late on this…)
Instead of amending buses to PC, they should introduce new bus services like 104. I think maybe a new full day express service to CBD and to the far west? Number can be 508..etc. NEL is already super packed and the Seletar Line isnt coming anytime soon, If NEL goes down how? Punggol really dont have any buses heading far west or even CBD except for City Direct Services but those only serve during peak hours. The new express service can be like Punggol > Sengkang > Buangkok > Expressway > CBD > To Areas in the West. If this does come, some CDS can cut and redeploy to this new service. It will really help commuters in the North East and Help relieve demand of NEL. 506 can then maybe amend bacl to East Coast. Just a suggestion.
We will talk about it when NEL goes down.
In the event that happen, oh boi…
Will bus service 50, 62 & 82 relocated to Punggol Coast as well?
Not sure I hope that PC doesn’t take many svc else there will be parking problem again,The ITH can only accommodate 24 parking lots..
Maybe 8 just nice.Rest stay at Punggol.
It’s pretty much confirmed 104 is a 43M renumber, but rather than turning left at Buangkok Drive, it will go straight (114 route) and then ply the yet to be opened sector.
Hence explains the september launch for 104.
Could LTA consider extending the bus route to northshore straitsview please as there is only 384 at the moment and no bus extended to punggol coast or other areas.
34, 117, 117M have been extended to Punggol Coast Bus Interchange as it has opened on 29th June 2025.
