I would like to address the punctuality of bus 835 bus service at Yishun Bus Interchange. I waited for this service at 9.15 am on the 23rd January 2025 scheduled arrival time reflected on the monitor as 9.30am.
Though it was reflected on the ‘ARRIVED’ there was no show of bus 835! Later the monitor reflected arrival time as 9.50am!
My medical appointment at Khoo Teck Phuat Hospital was at 10.00am that morning.
I approached the customer service officer who directed me to bus lane for bus service 803 . I took a ride on this bus and realized it was the incorrect bus. Finally a kind bus driver directed me to bus 805.
By the time I arrived at the hospital I was 30 mins late and the staff at the hospital would not allow me to proceed for my medical appointment.
I am a senior citizen of 76 years and found this mishandling of my journey to the hospital (which is nearby) is so unprofessional and sloppy.
I wonder how many more helpless passengers have been misdirected by the customer service officers!?

You should use SG transport Apps for 80% accuracy. And there’s free KTPH shuttle in the ITH too.Buses are not like train,Estimation is just a number be it early or late. With the trend nowadays ppl dun flag for buses or better last minute flag or gleefully looking at hp and bus past by then they put the blame on bus.

LTA should reopen back the temporary Int to alleviate some Yishun service to relieve parking problems.Once Chencaru operational then can demolish the temp Int.
    171,801,803,805 & 859 can based there.

No, it’s not. This is not a bus depot.

If LTA introduce this new feeder, how are they going to solve the interchange capacity problem?

When 801 was introduced, 860 had to convert from Yishun 🔄 YCK to YCK 🔄 Yishun (free bus park space). Then 811 had to skip Yishun ITH towards South Loop (free berth space).

Now Yishun ITH completely full again, how to fit this new feeder? My idea is to extend 171 to Tengah, then convert to loop at Yishun ITH (Tengah 🔄 Yishun), freeing park space. For berth space, godssake just build an extra lane at existing berths!

You add boarding berth and not parking lots how the hell buses want to layover?Right now every PTO want the expedition of Chencaru ITH or other terminal to amend some service there.Because of the parking woes many A/P duties has to take their meal breaks at Seletar and Mandai depot respectively.851 & 852 need to shortened at Yio Chu kang Int and extend 162 to Sembawang.
