Bus Service 247 is a Jurong Industrial Service serving industrial areas around Tuas and Tuas South with connections to transport nodes at Tuas Crescent and Tuas Link MRT stations, plying Tuas Avenue 7/8, Pioneer Road, Tuas South Ave 5/4/7/3/9/8 and looping at Tuas Bay Link. Exiting via Tuas South Ave 8/9/6, it then rejoins Tuas South Ave 7 and returns towards Tuas Bus Terminal.
The new route brings about greater connectivity to the Tuas South region, with a majority of bus stops served by this route being new bus stops. Industries around Tuas Crescent and Tuas South (including Tuas Biomedical Park), and workers living in dormitories around Tuas, stand to benefit from enhanced bus-rail connectivity offered in tandem with the opening of the East West Line‘s Tuas West Extension.
