Farrer Road MRT Station (CC20) is an underground station along the Circle Line (CCL). It is built underneath Farrer Road, the thoroughfare which gives the station its name, and is located near the Farrer Gardens Estate.

Farrer Road was named after John Farrer, who was President of the Municipal Commissioners from 1919 to 1931. The station serves the nearby Farrer Gardens housing estate, many condominiums and private homes, schools, and places of worship. Not to be confused with this station is Farrer Park station along the North East Line.

Farrer Road station has two platforms in an island platform arrangement. Refer to the Station Travel Information System (STIS) for the destination and service information of upcoming trains.

Basement 2 is a service floor and not for public access. However, it can be seen from the platform level as a suspended corridor accessible by lift.

Farrer Road MRT station has two exits at ground level (A and B), of which only Exit B is barrier-free.
For barrier-free access to Exit A, use the overhead bridge across Farrer Road which is served by lifts from Exit B.

Construction

Circle Line Stage 4 (CCL4) Contract C854 for the construction of Thomson, Adam and Farrer stations and tunnels (inclusive of Bukit Brown shell station) was awarded to Japanese company Taisei Corporation.
