Service 154 is a major trunk route serving both residential estates and many schools between Boon Lay and Eunos, passing through Lakeside, Clementi, Bukit Timah, Toa Payoh, MacPherson and Eunos. The service provides bus connections to many institutions along the Bukit Timah and Clementi Road academic belt, as well as serving residents of Yuan Ching and MacPherson estates to nearby MRT stations. A large portion of its route runs alongside Service 151.
Demand for this service is very strong during the peak hours with student demand in addition to workers commuting between Eunos/Paya Lebar and the industrial estates near MacPherson Road. It is one of three bus routes providing the exceedingly high-demand sector between Clementi MRT and SIM/Ngee Ann Polytechnic. During offpeak hours, demand remains moderate to high.

Just happened to read about the challenge of operating 154 from a single depot, considering it utilises a whopping number of 30+ buses.
Actually, bus services like 154 and 30 can be cut/shortened.
Reasons:
– 30 runs parallel with the EWL at Eunos to Bedok, and when the CCL6 opens, it will run parallel with the CCL at Pasir Panjang to Stadium. It can frankly shorten to just Jurong West and Jurong East, and use Jurong Town Hall Bus Interchange, and transfer to the Ulu Pandan Bus Package or Bulim Bus Package. Surrounding bus routes and EWL and CCL can take over the deleted sectors.
– 154, only unique sector is King Albert Park to Jurong West. The rest of it (Clementi to Eunos), actually duplicates with other bus routes, and the DTL and the CCL. It can easily shorten and become a loop service like 66.
Especially now with SLDP going to SMRT, resulting in operation challenges for several bus routes currently in dual depot control, especially the long ones, shortening 30 and 154 may help.
The above are my recommendations.
Don’t think 154 will amend to Bidadari ITH anytime soon, but got possibility will just serve Bidadari Estate. 154 still need to serve MacPherson mah, there got high demand.

SBST 154 Should amend to Bidadari Park (Woodleigh MRT) instead of going eastern Eunos
And also since the service is also very long from West to East i suggest if the service shortens to loop at Thomson Road, Skipping Bukit Timah to Boon Lay

other services from Yung Ho to Boon Lay
SBST 30 Should amend to Yuan Ching Road to replace the deleted sectors of SBST 154, instead of plying Corporation Drive
LTA can you deploy more bus at 2.40 PM at Jurong sec sch bus stop because every time I can’t get on to the bus and I had to wait for the next bus it’s not only me affect a lot of people is affected
