Service 151e should be re-introduced, plying it’s route from Hougang Interchange all the way to Opp Block 169. After that, it should utilise the Outer Road Ring System (ORRS) from Bartley Road East all the way to Adam Road, around the Botanic Gardens area as it’s express sector, before continuing on with it’s old route.
It’s a better route than the old one because it serves more educational institution, and skips the PIE area with a lot of traffic during peak hours. Hope LTA can re-introduce the service.
Ok so it was stated that this bus service 151 has double deckers but this morning, there was no double deckers in sight! This is during a monday morning peak hour, all the buses were single deckers which filled to the brim, even worst with no dds, the bus waiting time is at least 12-14 mins. If this is due to the lack of manpower, i understand but please deploy double deckers instead, lots of commuters use this route during the peak periods…even during off peak as well. Currently as i am writing this, there is no double deckers deployed during off peak as well. Lack of Manpower = Deploy Some/More Double Deckers not all Single Decks.
