SBS Transit Bus Service 18M is an interim supplementary trunk service plying from Bedok North Bus Depot and looping at Tampines Street 96, via Bedok Reservoir MRT Station.
It is a route variant of Service 18, and was launched on Sunday, 22 February 2026.

Bus Service 18M is a route variant of Bus Service 18, introduced to serve residents along Tampines Street 96, including the HDB Build-To-Order (BTO) estates of Tampines GreenQuartz, Tampines GreenEmerald, and Tampines GreenOpal. The service provides a direct connection to Bedok Reservoir MRT station along the Downtown Line.
The introduction of Service 18M improves public transport connectivity for these new estates in Tampines Street 96 by providing a second bus option, complementing the existing Feeder Bus Service 299. In addition to rail connectivity, the route links residents to bus transfer stops along Bedok Reservoir Road and Bedok North Road. The service also enhances access to local amenities in Bedok North, such as Fengshan Community Club and Bedok 85 Market.
The launch of Service 18M was first announced on 6 February 2026. According to the published route diagram, Service 18M is offered as an interim service. In the longer term, Bus Service 18 is expected to be amended to serve Tampines Streets 96, 92, and 94 directly, including the addition of two new pairs of bus stops along Tampines Street 92. These amendments will only be carried out after completion of the ongoing road works in the area.

Bus Service 18M should be merged with Bus Service 18 before Go-Ahead Singapore takes over the Tampines Bus Package from July 2026 makes more sense.
The new bus stop of 18M will also be served by Giant Tampines shuttle bus on weekends and public holidays from 10.45am to 7.45pm, departing at Blk 962A bus stop every 60mins.
I think bus service 18 could be extended to Upper East Coast Bus Terminal via Tanah Merah MRT and Bayshore MRT stations under TEL4 Rationalisations.
Maybe when Go-Ahead takes over in the future, coz then it might not be able to end at SBS Transit Bus Depot.
