Express Bus Service 43e is a Limited-stop Express Bus Service which offers quicker journeys for commuters at Punggol, Sengkang and Buangkok, linking them with the Paya Lebar, Tanjong Katong and Marine Parade areas. Operating in one direction during Weekdays Peak Hours only, it only calls at selected bus stops served by its parent Bus Service 43, and charges Express Fares as a result.
Originally launched with an express sector along Buangkok Drive, Buangkok East Drive, Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway (KPE) and Airport Road in both directions between Buangkok and MacPherson, the service was enhanced from 27 May 2024 by serving 14 additional bus stops along Buangkok Drive and Airport Road.

Hope Express bus service 43e should operate whole day on Weekends & Public Holidays as an alternative to the infrequent Parkway Parade to Sengkang/Buangkok MRT Shuttle Service. This will allow residents of Buangkok, Sengkang and Punggol to get to Parkway Parade faster and vice versa.
I believe that Express 43e will be enhanced to operate Daily (0600hrs – 1830hrs Punggol to Marine Parade, 1230hrs – 2330hrs Marine Parade to Punggol) in line with 12e, 851e and 960e’s operating hours at 20-minute intervals during weekday peak hours in each direction and 30-minute intervals at all other times including weekends. Introduction of Express 43e on weekends and public holidays will help relieve the infrequent Parkway Parade to Sengkang/Buangkok Shuttle Service by MyBus Pte Ltd (1-hour interval).
I took 43e this morning(2019/12/12 09:00), there should be nonstop bus between Buangkok stn exit B to Opp Trinity@Paya Lebar. but the captain still stopped the bus at two bus stops(Bef Sengkang Fire Stn(67711) and Bef Sengkang East Dr(67731)) cuz someone press the stop button. I thought I may took the wrong bus, so I got out of the bus. then I realized I took the right one and want to ask the captain open the door, bus captain refused me, and now I took a grab to my company taking $20. I know I should choose to ask bus captain or other passengers the bus info.
But can you follow the bus route to stop the bus? if you allow people to get out then you should also allow people to get in. Or just follow the route.
It will be good if this bus service could stop at the last bus stop before entering the KPE tunnel as it also pass by this route.
Opposite Paya Lebar Airbase Bus Stop 71181
It would be great for those heading toward punggol / sengkang area
Hope this feedback can be taken into consideration. Thanks
They leased 5 Euro6 A22 for this..
Pls stop at bus stop 71181. It will serve passengers who needs to travel to north eastern side of SG. Tks.
I rather LTA Introduce a limited stop express service to town area like Shenton Way or Marina Centre from Punggol rather than this.
