City Direct Service 655 provides residents of Teban Gardens, Pandan Gardens and West Coast with greater connectivity to the CBD. The service provides a travel alternative for commuters who would otherwise rely on the rail network/feeder buses or alternative trunk services to and from work. The route incorporates an express sector between West Coast Road and Anson Road/Shenton Way via West Coast Highway.

This is the fifth City Direct service to be introduced under the Bus Service Enhancement Programme (BSEP), providing more options for commuters using stretches of the existing rail lines that experience persistently high ridership, while the ongoing rail enhancement measures are being implemented.

730am first bus is late for those starting work at 8am CBD.
Can we have first bus at 7am or 715am to cater those starting work earlier? Thank you.

Evening bus 655 is too late, 6:30pm & 6:45pm at UIC building. Most of the offices close before 6pm and people prefer to take other transport rather than waiting for bus 655. It would be better if we can have one bus little early, around 6pm at UIC building. Presently, second bus is so late that its mostly running completely empty

Can we please advance the first bus to start at 6:45am, so that it reaches Varsity Park at 7:00am, so that it can reach my work place at 7:30am at Marina Bay Financial Center? I know at least there are 5 of us colleagues in the same company on this bus and because it is too late for us if we take the morning bus, we all have to take the bus and change twice on the MRT in the morning. There are many people who would like to start early and need to be in before 8:00am. You can charge us more and have a trial period. I Hiram tee you the bus will be full.
