City Direct Service 660M provides Hougang Neighbourhoods 6 and 9 residents with improved connectivity to the CBD. The service provides an alternative travel option for commuters who rely on the rail network and feeder buses to and from work. The route includes an express sector via the CTE between Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3 and Orchard Road.
Introduced under the Bus Connectivity Enhancement Programme (BCEP) on 11 November 2024 as a supplementary service of City Direct 660, the route starts from Buangkok Crescent and serves Buangkok Link before duplicating its parent service from Hougang Street 91 to the CBD during the morning peak hours and vice versa during the evening peak hours. Departure timings are staggered with City Direct 660.
If the eves of Christmas, New Year’s Day, and Chinese New Year fall on a weekday, the Evening Peak departures will be brought forward to the afternoon. Revised departure times will be provided by the operator closer to the affected date.

Skip one pair of stops and it’s a variant? What a waste
We can’t ever judge too early. Maybe it’s really that necessary?
We can’t ever judge too early and plus it’s not just one pair of stops.
What he probably mean is could just amend parent route 660 instead of introducing a whole new service, since 660 only serves one pair of bus stops different from 660M. 660M is much more useful than 660 because of serving Buangkok.
Is it necessary?What a jerk
More of a kneejerk reaction than just ‘jerk’ lol
