Cross Border Bus Service AC7 connects Yishun, Sembawang Rd, Sembawang MRT, Woodlands Ave 9 and Marsiling to Sultan Iskandar CIQ, the customs checkpoint in Johor Bahru.
Starting from Yishun Bus Interchange, AC7 duplicates the route of Bus Service 858 up to Woodlands Ave 9, serving Chong Pang, Sembawang Rd (Sembawang Shopping Centre), Sembawang MRT, Woodlands Ave 7 & Gambas Ave (near Seagate and Woodlands Loop).
It then continues west along Woodlands Ave 9/Riverside Rd/Admiralty Rd, serving Republic Polytechnic and housing/industrial estates around Marsiling before crossing the border to Johor Bahru.
Cross-Border Procedures
Due to varying traffic conditions at the Causeway, journey times and frequencies may increase significantly when jams occur. At each checkpoint, passengers have to alight and clear customs before boarding the bus again. Upon reboarding, passengers will be required to show proof of payment (issued receipt).

Brief Route History
Introduced on Wednesday, 15 December 2010 and operated by Advance Coach, the service was initiated as part of a bilateral Singapore & Malaysia agreement to improve transit links between both countries. Formerly terminating at Kotaraya II Terminal, it was shortened to JB CIQ following the closure of the terminal in November 2014.
Advance Coach operated the service with high-floor Yutong ZK6118HGA city buses in a purple livery. From 18 March 2020, the service was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the accompanying Malaysia Movement Control Order. While most public bus services resumed on 1 May 2022, Bus Service AC7 only resumed operations on 19 May 2022, this time operated by Ridewell Travel using 6 units of low-floor Yutong ZK6126HGA city buses.
In 2024, Yutong ZK6116HE coaches also started operating on this service with fare collection equipment and cross-border licensing.

This service should be given to SMRT and renumbered service 951. It would be more properly managed n operated and it will have a very good loading too given the route that it operates on. But sadly a gd route is wasted on some cheap grade unknown company with useless n poorly mantained service n buses. Please LTA open yur eyes n give to smrt as service 951.
LTA can consider giving this bus service to SMRT under Woodlands Package to enhance the service.
How can the assistant bus captain collects the money from us and put into his pocket? What is the quality of the employee?
Please just stop this bus service don’t waste others time. The waiting is good enough for us to reach home if we travel by other ways!
Waited for 1hour still no bus yet. It stated bus interval 25-30mins! PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WAITING FOR THIS BUS AC7 ! I
Waited more than 40mins at Yishun Temp Interchange and no bus visible. It is the most f*up service of all. Will not ride again EVER.
Other pt to note, no proper bus stop at Woodlands on returning from JB custom.
Unknown or inconsistency bus interval.
Took bus from jb to woodlands. Get in first kune at woodlands checkpoint. Came down the bus just go off like that. Never issue any tickets at Johore CiQ. What a terrible system
