Shuttle Bus Service LCS2 connects estates around Punggol West & Punggol Central with Loyang Industrial Estate, Airport Logistics Park of Singapore (ALPS) and Changi Airfreight Centre (CAC). The service operates on Weekdays only (except Public Holidays), with 2 trips towards Changi Airfreight Centre during the morning peak hours, and 2 evening trips in the reverse direction towards Punggol West during the evening peak hours.

The route between Punggol Central and Loyang Industrial Estate plies express along Pasir Ris Industrial Drive 1 and Pasir Ris Drive 3. From Loyang Industrial Estate to ALPS, all bus stops along Loyang Ave / Nicoll Dr are also skipped, except for bus stops outside and opposite Singapore Aviation Academy next to Changi Village.

If the eves of Christmas, New Year’s Day, and Chinese New Year fall on a weekday, the Evening Peak departures will be brought forward to the afternoon. Revised departure times will be provided by the operator closer to the affected date.

Airport Logistics Park of Singapore (ALPS):

ALPS is a designated Free Trade Zone (FTZ). From 1 September 2024, all visitors entering ALPS have to register themselves via a registration portal prior to entering the area. Upon arrival of the bus at the checkpoint, individuals have to produce a photo identification to the security officer for verification.

Changi Airfreight Centre

Changi Airfreight Centre is a restricted area; only persons with valid passes are allowed to enter. All bus passengers heading into CAC must ensure that they have a valid pass, as there is no changing of visitor passes allowed at the Police Guard Post along ALPS Avenue.

Passengers who do not have a CAC pass should alight at Bus Stop 95191 – Opp DB Schenker, Alps Avenue.

LCS bus services

LCS bus services were introduced on Thursday, 23 February 2023, to facilitate travel to and from industrial areas in Loyang, potentially to alleviate road congestion. The launch coincided with the start of long-term road closures in the Loyang area, which started on 26 February 2023.

As part of construction works for Loyang Station and Loyang Viaduct, a section of Loyang Avenue between Pasir Ris Dr 3 and Loyang Way was closed from 26 February 2023. Works are expected to be completed by the second quarter of 2029.

According to LTA’s OneMotoring site, the LCS services are described as ‘Temporary shuttle bus services’. Like Premium bus services, these services charge flat fares independent of distance travelled, with no concessionary fares or transfer discounts applicable. Cash is not accepted, despite buses being fitted with fare collection equipment.

Bus Services LCS1 and LCS2 were previously served by Scania K230UB buses, which are SBS Transit-owned, rather than leased from LTA under the BCM. After 2 years and 2 months, operations were transferred to Tower Transit.

Can ther be such shuttle services from the west @ least… I am staying in CCK area & many commuters from the west have to travel to tampines, yishun or sengkang to connect to other buses to get to Changi Cargo Complex.. Tampines & sengkang already have buses to the complex while we from the west always have no buses to the western area. Do consider services least to somewhere more convenient for people from the west.
