Tower Transit Bus Service 965 will be amended within Woodlands town in the future, serving the new housing estate of UrbanVille @ Woodlands along Woodlands Avenue 5.
A new pair of bus stops will be constructed along Woodlands Avenue 5 outside and opposite Block 905 (part of the UrbanVille @ Woodlands development).
Plans for the amendment were reflected in the LTA Travel Guide for UrbanVille @ Woodlands, which was released as part of the HDB MyNiceHome Roadshow for the new housing estate in April 2026.
In the vicinity map, a pair of future bus stops were indicated with Service 965 to serve them.
In addition, Service 965 was also indicated to serve Republic Polytechnic, indicating that it may continue along Woodlands Avenue 9 towards Sengkang.
Service 965 should be converted to bidirectional between Woodlands & Sengkang.
Service 965 should amend to Woodlands ITH, instead of Temporary Bus Interchange, passing via Woodlands Avenue 5/9/6/2, skipping Parts of Woodlands Avenue 7 & Temporary Interchange. Service 969 can replace deleted sectors along Woodlands Avenue 7. The rest of 965’s route between Admiralty & Sengkang remains the same, except that it would be converted to bidirectional instead of a loop service since it is 42km long from Woodlands to Sengkang, then back to Woodlands.

Looks like 965 would be serving Ave 5 -> 9 -> 6, since it’s indicated that it serves Admiralty Pr Sch
It might even continue downwards serving the area Spectra is situated in (who knows, the school might’ve written in to call for a direct bus to Yishun, since a lot of their students do frequent/stay there). If 965 turns left directly after Ave 6 to Ave 7, it would’ve skipped Kampung Admiralty/MRT entirely, thus why I think 965 goes straight down
After that who knows, maybe Ave 12 then Gambas?
It’s about time 965 parted with “brother” 969 😂, and just in time too, as 965’s extension to Buangkok is also coming in hot very very soon (allegedly, training buses were spotted). In fact, both amendments might be announced together as one
