The defunct Shenton Way Bus Terminal was a former bus station located at Palmer Road, is a bus terminal located at along Palmer Road. The terminal mainly served as a terminating point for bus routes originating and terminating in the City, and serves the nearby developments of Hock Teck See Temple, Masjid Haji Muhammad Salleh, Palmer House and various other commercial buildings in the Shenton Way area.
The terminal was located at 60A Palmer Road, Singapore 079428. Opened on 26 April 2010, it was closed on 25 June 2017 as the existing site was cleared to make way for Circle Line (Stage 6) construction.

The Terminal:
Shenton Way Bus Terminal was a bus terminal located in the Central Business District (CBD), along Palmer Road and just off Shenton Way. The terminal primarily served as a terminating point for bus routes serving the Shenton Way area before branching out to the heartlands. It was within walking distance of Tanjong Pagar MRT Station along the East-West MRT Line.
The terminal had a single vehicular concourse area, with both angled and parallel bus parking lots, and a combined vehicular entrance and exit along Palmer Road. No boarding and alighting was allowed at the terminal. The final stop for terminating buses was 03219 Aft Shenton Way outside the interchange, next to the Masjid Haji Muhammad Salleh mosque. The first stop for buses exiting the terminal was 03211 Bef Shenton Way along Palmer Road, opposite Hock Teck See Temple.
Inside the terminal building, there is a control office, driver’s lounge, NTWU canteen and toilets.
Relocation
On 25 June 2017, Shenton Way Bus Terminal was again relocated to a new site at the junction of Shenton Way and Prince Edward Road, just north of the old site. The old terminal was demolished to make way for construction of Circle Line (Stage 6)’s Prince Edward Road MRT Station. LTA Contract 8812 for the Construction of New Bus Terminal at Shenton Way was awarded to CCECC Singapore Pte Ltd for S$11.3 million in January 2016, and parts of Singapore Polytechnic’s former campus at Prince Edward Road were demolished to make way for the terminal.
