Service 107 connects the residential towns of Hougang, Serangoon and Geylang Bahru to Beach Road and Shenton Way, duplicating the North-East Line between Hougang and Potong Pasir, and operates on weekdays (until evening) and Saturday mornings. On weekday nights, Saturday afternoons & evenings, and Sundays & Public Holidays, its route variant Service 107M will operate, looping at Raffles Boulevard and skipping Fullerton / Shenton Way.

Due to limited inter-town demand partially due to rail duplication, demand remains moderate throughout most of the day.

• 1978 (23 Jan): Introduced between Serangoon Garden Ter and Shenton Way (Loop) as a semi-express service on weekdays and Saturdays, replacing Blue Arrow Service 304
• 1979 (11 Feb): Amended to ply the extended Shenton Way, Keppel Rd and Anson Rd, skipping Parsi Rd
• 1981 (10 May): Skips bus stop before Braddell Flyover along Braddell Rd
• 1981 (11 Oct): Serves new staggered bus stop outside Tunas Bldg along Anson Rd, skipping the bus stop outside Intl Plaza
• 1983 (06 Feb): Amended to ply CTE towards Serangoon Gdn Ter with the closure of temporary slip road between Braddell Rd and Lor Chuan
