Circle Line Train Disruption

A signal fault on the Circle Line disrupted train services for approximately half an hour between Dhoby Ghaut, Marina Bay and Paya Lebar on 11 November 2018. Free passing by bus services as well as bridging bus services (TF50) were activated.

Timeline

1500hrs – First social media reports of a signal fault on the Circle Line.

1520hrs – Station screens reflect signal fault on Circle Line – Train Disruption between Dhoby Ghaut, Marina Bay and Paya Lebar

1530hrs – SMRT and LTA report signal fault on Twitter and MyTransport.SG app

1550hrs – Fault rectified and train services progressively resume back to normal. Additional 15 minutes travelling time along affected stations.

1620hrs – Train services resumed and free passing by and bridging bus services ended.
