But the connectivity between Kaki Bukit and the estate along Bedok Reservoir Road is bad. Can change 228 to ply Kaki Bukit Ave 1 – Jalan Damai – Bedok Reservoir Rd and take its usual loop at Bedok Christ Church. Maybe one pair or new bus stops along Jln Damai as well.

thought it’ll make sense to merge 22 with 228 instead, so from AMK it will go the same route to Bedok Reservoir, go through the Bedok Reservoir ring, and then go Bedok North Ave 3 to Bedok Int. Most existing commuters still get a direct albeit longer journey, and also enhances connectivity from Bedok Reservoir ring to DTL via Ubi Stn. This actually saves mileage compared to the Eunos option as well!

That is good, but it can be better with a route variant of 22 to replace 228, looping at bedok reservoir ring road, with 22 plying the bedok reservoir road stretch from eunos link/ jalan eunos to bedok north avenue 3, plying the lost sector of 66 in bedok.

LTA need to recoup the losses of running DTL hence why all the amendments. As it’s public transportation you cannot say much albeit you write to your MP.They already lose billions running low capacity DTL and probably TEL stage 3/4.Until they recoup the losses only then new bus service to cover the sectors are introduced.

I wonder if bus 506 will be converted to trunk service in the future due to its reduced express sector and coverage

I living at Bukit Batok East Avenue 6, need travel to lavender Street area, taking service 66 to transfer 67 or 141 at Farrer park bus stop(B07211).
Now I have to transfer at Opp Pei Hwa Pri Sch(B42079). That not a problem.
Problem is coming back I can’t direct transfer back 66 at B42071, I have to take other bus service 61, 77, 157, 174, 970, ,985 for just 1 bus stop and transfer again to 66. (3 buses) Making us very inconvenient, please think for senior citizens who sitting in wheelchair how he feel.
I very hope LTA could understand if you want to reduce cost running on bus service, could you extend to U- turn at Sixth Avenue where is 77 & 970 now is using, also by making this move, other passengers also can direct transfer 852, 961, 74, 151, 154.
This will make transfer much more convenient to all surrounding bus service.

I think they have a mitigation measure to this. You still can take service 66 to Little India MRT but change to service 67. 66 still can go to Marina Centre soon, just waiting for Marina South Terminus to be opened.

Bus route 22 is only bus available to travel from Tampines Ave 4 to any place on Bedok reservious route. There is lot of dependency on this bus for students and seniors on this route. Please reconsider your decision. Or Please provide alternate bus service to Travel through tampines ave 4 ( Like bus route 67).

Yes, it is correct. 65 should be the one to kill off instead. There exists to be less loading between Tampines and Ubi. Gave up taking 65 after a while, my parents are all concerned.

It is actually less loading not just between Tampines & Ubi, but also between Tampines & Bencoolen.
