MRT Early Closure: Serangoon – Punggol (9 – 10 Apr)

Shorter operating hours along the North East Line (NEL) between Serangoon and Punggol will take place on Friday, 9 April 2021 & Saturday, 10 April 2021 to facilitate the intensified replacement works for insulators of the overhead catenary system.

This will involve early closures along the NEL.

Affected Train Stations

• NE12CC13 Serangoon
• NE13  Kovan
• NE14 Hougang
• NE15 Buangkok
• NE16STC Sengkang
• NE17PTC Punggol

NEL train services between Serangoon and Punggol will:

• End earlier at around 11.00pm on Friday, 9 April 2021 & Saturday, 10 April 2021

NEL train service will only operate between NE1CC29 HarbourFront – NE12CC13 Serangoon during periods of Early Closure at longer intervals of 9 minutes.

A Shuttle Bus Service will be available:

• Shuttle 21: Serangoon — Punggol

• North East Line towards HarbourFront from Serangoon

• Sengkang LRT from Sengkang Station (East & West Loops)
  Last train at 1:10am
• Punggol LRT from Punggol Station (East & West Loops)
  Last train at 1:15am
• Bus Service 325 from Hougang Central Bus Interchange
  Last bus at 12:50am
• Bus Service 83 from Punggol Temporary Bus Interchange terminating at Sengkang Bus Interchange
  Last bus at 1:15am
• Bus Service 382G from Punggol Temporary Bus Interchange
  Last bus at 1:15am
• Bus Service 386 from Punggol Temporary Bus Interchange
  Last bus at 1:15am
