myBAS Bus Service T40 connects the Larkin Sentral intercity bus terminal with Taman Ungku Tun Aminah and Gelang Patah, passing through Tampoi, Skudai, Mutiara Rini and Lima Kedai.
This service stops at Gelang Patah Bus Terminal in both directions, where passengers can transfer to bus services for Singapore, Tanjung Pelapas and Pendas.
Route Information:
The route was launched on 31 March 2022 as part of the myBAS Johor Bahru scheme (Phase 1), aimed at enhancing bus services in Johor Bahru. The route was renumbered from Causeway Link 666 (Larkin ↔ Gelang Patah), plying the same route, with a short extension to GP Sentral.

- 2005 (29 Aug): Introduced between Larkin ↔ Kompleks Sultan Abu Bakar in tandem with Causeway Link CW3
- ~late 2005: Shortened to Larkin ↔ Gelang Patah, with onward connection to Singapore offered by CW3
- 2014 (01 Oct): Shortened to Medan Nusa Perintis 1 due to closure of Gelang Patah Terminal
- 2015 (01 Feb): Extended to Gelang Patah Sentral (GP Sentral)
- 2016 (11 Sep): Route shortened from GP Sentral to Gelang Patah Terminal
- 2022 (31 Mar): Renumbered from 666 to T40 under MyBAS Johor Bahru Phase 1, and extended to GP Sentral.
