Nanyang Crescent MRT Station (JW4) is an elevated station located along the Jurong Region Line (JRL) Phase 3. It is built within the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) campus, bringing rail connectivity to adjacent developments, such as the National Institute of Education (NIE), NTU North Spine, and Halls of Residences.
Originally announced to be targeted for opening in Year 2028, it was announced to be delayed by about one year in a Written Reply by Minister for Transport Ong Ye Kung to Parliamentary Question on Prioritising Early Completion of Jurong Region MRT Line on 1 Feb 2021, with COVID-19 cited as a reason.

Nanyang Crescent station has two platforms in a side platform arrangement.
The station platforms are built to four-car length to cater for future expansion, although trains will only operate in a three-car formation.
Nanyang Crescent MRT station will likely have three exits leading to ground level. More details will be confirmed closer to the opening of the station.
Contract J113 – Design and Construction of Nanyang Gateway Station, Nanyang Crescent Station and Viaduct for Jurong Region Line – was awarded to Hwa Seng Builder Pte Ltd for S$263 million in April 2021. Construction is scheduled to start in the second quarter of 2021, with expected completion in 2029.
