USB Charging Ports
The bus was equipped with USB charging ports for selected seats only. Charging ports come with room for either one or two USB cables.
The bus only fitted USB charging ports to the rear saloon seats on the lower deck, and the last two rows of the upper deck. The reason for such an odd layout is unknown.
Exit Doors
Doors and the Automated Wheelchair Ramp are supplied by SMC Transit, also known as SMC Pneumatics. A video of the ramp deployment is shown below. The automatic ramp was removed prior to entering revenue service, and replaced with a manual wheelchair ramp.

The B8L is a good bus, and its a good design but…
I have one problem with it. The bus doesn’t have a internal PID that shows the next stop.
Come on, even all the 0405/Gs all have it.
(I also don’t like the Citaro and B9TL for the same reason)
