Jurong Island Bus Services

Jurong Island is an artificial island off the south coast of Jurong Port, created through land reclamation and the joining up of seven smaller islands. Today, it is home to many petrochemical industries, and access is limited to staff and visitors with valid security passes.

ComfortDelGro Bus is the current appointed operator for the Jurong Island Bus Service, having taken over operations from Woodlands Transport in November 2020. Prior to this, Transit Network Consortium (TNC) was the operator back in July 2015.

Prior to TNC, SBS used to operate these services, using Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)-powered Volvo B10BLE buses.

The boarding point for all Jurong Island Bus Services is at Bus Stop 28061, J Gateway, along Boon Lay Way. The bus stop is next to Westgate Shopping Centre. Dedicated queue line markings are painted on the floor to allow smooth boarding and passenger flow.

Previously, Jurong Island Bus Services used to start from Jurong East Temporary Bus Interchange, before being moved out to Boon Lay Way in August 2015 due to a lack of parking lots for the increasing number of public bus services at Jurong East.
