Renovation works have commenced in March 2024, with the co-living train hotel anticipated to be operational in September 2024.
On 5 June 2024, C751B train car 3326 was transported from Tuas West Depot to the site of the hotel, while the remaining two cars of the trainset (cars 1326 and 2326) were scrapped.
In a Chinese news report by 8World on 26 August 2024, it was reported that the hotel would not be able to open by September 2024 as planned due to the delay in renovation work. The revised operational start date for the hotel would be by the end of 2024. The hotel was officially launched on 11 April 2025.
According to TinyPod, approximately $300,000 and 8 months of work were devoted to refurbishing the decommissioned train car.

first it was train seats of decommissioned trains in Yishun Northpoint and HDBs near Northpoint, now, there is a train car of a decommissioned train as a tiny hotel in One-north. If Ryan Trahan makes a video about checking out tiny hotels in Asia, then he would go to the train shaped hotel in Singapore to check it out in that video.
Then, two decommissioned C751B preserved. One for a random class thing in Farrer Park and another one for a college in I don’t know where.
