Service 674 offers residents of Tengah a direct peak-hour service to the Central Business District. This increases convenience and offers greater connectivity for residents, who would otherwise have to commute via feeder bus and transfer to the rail network.

Between Plantation Crescent and Anson Road, the services plies non-stop along trunk roads and expressways, via Bukit Batok Rd, Jurong Town Hall Road and AYE.

This service was introduced under the Bus Connectivity Enhancement Programme (BCEP), which promises to introduce more bus services, including peak-hour express bus services.

If the eves of Christmas, New Year’s Day, and Chinese New Year fall on a weekday, the Evening Peak departures will be brought forward to the afternoon. Revised departure times will be provided by the operator closer to the affected date.

• 2024 (25 Nov): Introduced between Tengah Dr (Blk 238) and Marina Blvd (Marina Bay Financial Ctr) during morning peak hours and between Central Blvd (Marina Bay Stn) and Tengah Dr (Blk 324B) during evening peak hours as a City Direct Service under the LTA’s Bus Connectivity Enhancement Programme (BCEP).
• 2025 (14 Apr): 2 additional morning trips & 1 additional evening trip added with changes to trip departure timings.
• 2025 (15 Sep): Extended to Tengah Blvd with additional 3 morning & 2 evening trips.
