The Wright StreetDeck Electroliner 6×2 (YB720) is a three-axle, low-floor double-deck bus. A variant of this model was also developed for Singapore’s urban public transport network, featuring three doors and two staircases.
Specifications for the bus were first revealed by Wrightbus through a product showcase listing for Singapore Urban Mobility Week (SUMW) 2026, scheduled to be held at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre in November 2026. Wrightbus will also be exhibiting at the event with its own booth.
Platform
The Wright StreetDeck Electroliner is a battery-electric double-deck bus platform developed by British bus manufacturer Wrightbus, building upon its established StreetDeck range of double-deck buses.
The three-axle (6×2) variant was unveiled on 21 July 2025, following two years of development. Prototypes were produced at Wrightbus manufacturing facilities in Northern Ireland and Malaysia, with the platform designed to accommodate both fixed and steerable axle configurations, as well as increased battery capacity.
Wrightbus had previously participated in the Land Transport Authority’s (LTA) Contract PT602 tender for 660 electric buses in 2025. Bamford Bus Company Limited, trading as Wrightbus, was part of a three-company consortium shortlisted for the tender. However, the consortium was unsuccessful, with the six contracts awarded to other suppliers in December 2025.
In May 2026, Wrightbus secured its first order for the three-axle StreetDeck Electroliner, with Hong Kong bus operator Citybus ordering 20 units for delivery in 2027. The buses are to be manufactured at Wrightbus’ Malaysian facility.

LTA should order 150 of these plus ADL Enviro 500EV and Volvo BZL 6×2…Single deck should be MAN Lion City E and probably Lion City G e.
