BAS.MY Johor Bahru J42 is a Johor Bahru local bus service operated by Handal Indah (Causeway Link), plying between Gelang Patah and Pendas. The route passes through Taman Nusa Perintis, Kampung Tiram, Leisure Fare Resort, Tanjung Pelepas Port, Kampung Pok and Kampung Ladang.
Previously known as Route T42, this service was renumbered to Route J42 from 30 Sep 2025, as part of the rebranded BAS.MY Johor Bahru network.

BAS.MY Johor Bahru J42 connects Gelang Patah Terminal, Pendas, and the many residential towns along Jalan Tanjung Kupang (Federal Road J4). These include Leisure Farm Resort, Kampung Tiram Duku Kiri, Kampung Pok, Kampung Tanjung Kupang and Kampung Ladang. The route provides these low-density village areas with bus connections to the transport node of Gelang Patah.
Route History:
Bus Service T42 was launched on 25 April 2022 as part of the myBAS Johor Bahru scheme (Phase 2), aimed at enhancing bus services in Johor Bahru.
The route was renumbered from Bas Iskandar Malaysia IM05 (Gelang Patah ↔ Pendas), plying the same route. The former Bus Iskandar Malaysia services, carrying the IM- prefix, were a government initiative to provide low-density townships with basic bus connections and an alternative to private transport.
On 30 September 2025, the route was renumbered to Bus Service J42 under the BAS.MY Johor Bahru route reorganisation, with no changes in routes and departure timings.
