Farmway LRT Station (SW2) is a light rail station along the Sengkang LRT (SKLRT)’s West Loop. Located within the Sengkang New Town, the station is overground and built along Anchorvale Street, near the junction of Anchorvale Road.

The station is named after farms formerly in the area. Old roads were called referred to as Farmways, such as Cheng Lim Farmways 1 to 6 in the area. It serves the Sengkang Riverside Park along with several community amenities such as Anchorvale Village.

Farmway station is overground with an island platform serving LRT services in both directions of the West Loop. Outer and Inner loop services run clockwise and counter-clockwise around the loop respectively.

Concourse

The station concourse is located at Level 2. The concourse leads to an overhead bridge that spans across Anchorvale Street, with lifts and stairs connecting to street level.

Built in-between two carriageways of Anchorvale Street, Farmway LRT station has an exit on each side of the road. Barrier-free accessibility is offered via lifts.

LRT Bus Bridging Service

In the event of a LRT service disruption affecting Farmway station, LRT Bridging Buses may be activated to ply affected stretches of the Sengkang LRT. In which case, the buses can be boarded from the following locations:

There are no bridging services for West Loop Outer. In addition, passengers can board free regular bus services at Bus Stops 67311 & 67319 when activated.


History

The station remained closed when train services along the Sengkang LRT West Loop first began on 29 January 2005, owing to limited developments in the area.

Farmway station opened for passenger service on 15 November 2007.

    This morning 25 Aug 2022 at 5.50 am I took a train from Kupang Lrt to Thanggam LRT for senior 70 years old, but the my senior card is charged $0.60 cents, I thought weekday before 7am for senior is 10 cents. Today is not a public holiday, may I know why?
