Since 9 July 2018, Tower Transit deployed Double Decker Buses on Bus Services 941, 974 and 990. These buses will help to ease passenger crowd levels during peak hours, providing a more comfortable ride for all.
4 Double Decker buses were sighted on Tower Transit Bus Service 974 on the first day. Service 974 which was launched earlier in April 2018Â operating between Joo Koon and Bukit Panjang.
Double Deckers are also scheduled to operate one evening trip each on Tower Transit Bus Services 941 and 990. These buses operate additional trips on these services after running their parent services, 189 and 106 respectively.
Only 974 deserved a couple of DDs,The other 2 service is a big joke.
it’s a bit of unnecessary as the loading of these 3 services during off peak periods are not strong as imagined.
Agreed. I take 974 from work back home every day and notice that it rarely gets more than 10, if not 20, passengers every trip.
