Bukit Chagar RTS Station is an above-ground station and the Malaysian terminus of the Singapore–Johor Bahru RTS Link, currently under construction.

Bukit Chagar station and its adjacent ICQ complex are a part of the Southern Integrated Gateway, the main transportation hub of Johor Bahru which also includes Sultan Iskandar CIQ Complex and Johor Bahru Sentral railway station. A mixed development (including an integrated transport hub) is also being planned directly adjacent to Bukit Chagar station, but as a private development unaffiliated with the RTS Link project.

Platforms at Bukit Chagar station will be based on the Spanish solution, with a central platform for boarding passengers, and two side platforms for alighting passengers.

Departure Flow (towards Woodlands North, Singapore)

Passengers heading towards Singapore would have cleared both Malaysia & Singapore customs at the adjacent Bukit Chagar ICQ building before entering the station. The boarding platform serves trains on both sides.

Arrival Flow (from Woodlands North, Singapore)

Passengers arriving from Singapore would have already cleared both Singapore & Malaysia customs at Woodlands North, and can directly exit the station upon alighting from the train.

Operating Hours

Train service operating hours are between 6:00 am and midnight, with the option of starting earlier (at around 5:30 am) should there be passenger demand for it.

Bukit Chagar could use a bus interchange exclusively for the sg cross border services (to save up space in the JB Sentral ter.)
    Bus services here are 160, 170, 170X, 950, 977, and AC7.

160 and 950 will just be converted into bidirectional services with no major route changes apart from the interchange relocation. 160 will also transfer operator to tts under bulim bcm.
170 would be shortened to this interchange.
170X will start from this interchange, loop at kranji loop and be renumbered to bus 404 under smrt (woodlands bcm).
AC7 will extend to this interchange and renumbered to 861 under tower transit (smb-yis bcm)
977 is a new service from bukit panjang int operated by smrt.

160,170X,950 and probably AC7 will be terminating here instead of JB Sentral.AC7 renumbered as 870 give it to Yishun anchor operator.
