Service 104 connects residents in Northshore, Sumang, Buangkok, Serangoon and Bidadari to nearby transport nodes such as Punggol Coast, Buangkok, Serangoon and Woodleigh MRT Stations along the North-East Line. It is introduced under the LTA’s Bus Connectivity Enhancement Programme (BCEP).
The service is launched as an enhancement and extension of Service 43M, which was withdrawn on 26 October 2025. Service 43M plied between Punggol and Serangoon Central (Loop).
Key differences from Service 43M include:
- Northern extension to Punggol Coast Int, via Punggol Way & Northshore Drive
- Amendment to serve Sumang Walk / Sumang Lane
- Amendment to ply the newly extended Buangkok Drive
- Southern extension to Woodleigh Int, via Serangoon Avenue 1 & Bidadari Park Drive
Passengers should note that this service skips Bus Stop 65711 (Blk 446B) along New Punggol Road; the bus stop outside HDB Punggol Point Cove in the direction of Punggol Coast.

Plans
On 24 June 2025, Member of Parliament for Punggol GRC Ms Sun Xueling revealed in a social media post that a new trunk bus service 104 between Punggol Coast & Woodleigh is planned to commence in the coming months.
Key catchment areas for Service 104 in the Punggol area were shared, such as the Sumang / Matilda and Northshore areas. Service 104 would bring direct connections for Punggol residents to Sengkang, Buangkok, Serangoon, and Woodleigh.
On 2 Oct 2025, Ms Sun Xueling posted on social media regarding the launch of Service 104 from 26 Oct 2025. In the service poster from the operator website (obtained from the QR code in the poster), Service 104 was indicated to serve a new bus stop (65669 – Northshore Pr Sch) along Northshore Drive towards Woodleigh Int in the future.
However, the updated poster released by the Land Transport Authority on 12 October 2025 showed that Service 104 will serve bus stop 65669 – Northshore Pr Sch at launch.

Hi, I’m a Fernvale south resident residing in Block 403A, and I would be very pleased if this new bus service 104 could connect Fernvale residents to both Punggol Coast and Woodleigh via Buangkok MRT. There is a lack of connectivity between Fernvale and Buangkok, especially amenities and places of worship like the Sengkang Grand Mall and Al-Mawaddah Mosque in Compassvale Bow. By routing this new bus service through the new Buangkok Drive extension, residents can expect reduced travel time and will have direct connectivity towards Woodleigh. Residents do not have to rely on taking the bus or LRT, then taking the MRT towards Woodleigh. This will hugely benefit residents in Sengkang West and those working in the CBD area. I hope as the phase 2 of the Buangkok Drive extension opens in August, the bus service will travel along the Fernvale Road or Yio Chu Kang Road. With this implementation, we will expect major cut down in travel time and enhanced connectivity. Thank you and I look forward to this great opportunity awaiting for Fernvale South and Buangkok residents!
Hi, whoever can help talk to LTA for a slight route amendment? Can make 104 after buangkok MRT travel via Sengkang East Ave Sengkang East Rd instead of duplicating 43 via Sengkang Ctrl Compassvale Dr Sengkang East Ave as Blk 301D bus stop already lost 156 to Buangkok and have bad bus frequencies and connectivity to travel out. Thank you.
Surely this will be the new 43M
Either SBST or GAS. GAS should likely have higher chance? If its GAS, hopefully they leased more of those BYD B12 or even Zhongtong N12, that is if they dont have enough buses. The A22 Euro V in Storage can go to SMRT Soon Lee to replaced off the remaining KUBS, A22 Euro VI can go to TTS Mandai for 858, full fleet Euro VI due to the need for announcement(exception bendies).
Most of TTS Euro V A22 also has announcement.
Looking at 10x series, SBST has chance but if that materialise it will under either Sengkang-Hougang or Serangoon-Eunos
Loyang got chargers, if not why GAS got Yutong E12 and Yutong E12DD? Probably can use the same chargers, same reason as why TTS recently leased some BYD & Zhongtong for Bulim which already have chargers for their Yutongs. So in a sense GAS & TTS can leased the new EV buses and so can SMRT once Gali Batu Depot opens which is likely soon, heard SMRT already leased 1 BYD.
because they getting rid of OC500LE.
But loyang got no charger most likely sbs sengkang west diseal bus might go to go ahead
I heard that 43M is going to renumbered as 104
But I think 43M will remain but introduce 104
I think 43M & 104 are two separated different bus services
