Service 104 connects residents in Northshore, Sumang, Buangkok, Serangoon and Bidadari to nearby transport nodes such as Punggol Coast, Buangkok, Serangoon and Woodleigh MRT Stations along the North-East Line. It is introduced under the LTA’s Bus Connectivity Enhancement Programme (BCEP).
The service is launched as an enhancement and extension of Service 43M, which was withdrawn on 26 October 2025. Service 43M plied between Punggol and Serangoon Central (Loop).
Key differences from Service 43M include:
- Northern extension to Punggol Coast Int, via Punggol Way & Northshore Drive
- Amendment to serve Sumang Walk / Sumang Lane
- Amendment to ply the newly extended Buangkok Drive
- Southern extension to Woodleigh Int, via Serangoon Avenue 1 & Bidadari Park Drive
Passengers should note that this service skips Bus Stop 65711 (Blk 446B) along New Punggol Road; the bus stop outside HDB Punggol Point Cove in the direction of Punggol Coast.

Plans
On 24 June 2025, Member of Parliament for Punggol GRC Ms Sun Xueling revealed in a social media post that a new trunk bus service 104 between Punggol Coast & Woodleigh is planned to commence in the coming months.
Key catchment areas for Service 104 in the Punggol area were shared, such as the Sumang / Matilda and Northshore areas. Service 104 would bring direct connections for Punggol residents to Sengkang, Buangkok, Serangoon, and Woodleigh.
On 2 Oct 2025, Ms Sun Xueling posted on social media regarding the launch of Service 104 from 26 Oct 2025. In the service poster from the operator website (obtained from the QR code in the poster), Service 104 was indicated to serve a new bus stop (65669 – Northshore Pr Sch) along Northshore Drive towards Woodleigh Int in the future.
However, the updated poster released by the Land Transport Authority on 12 October 2025 showed that Service 104 will serve bus stop 65669 – Northshore Pr Sch at launch.

Back to Bus Services

Come on Punggol East and Punggol Drive is lack of transport options to Central/Woodlands, not even Bukit Timah or also still dun have bus to punggol coast?? Punggol Residences are facing challenges on transport!
Random little finding: 104 is at Berth 4 of PGC ITH (im prob a little late on this…)
Instead of amending buses to PC, they should introduce new bus services like 104. I think maybe a new full day express service to CBD and to the far west? Number can be 508..etc. NEL is already super packed and the Seletar Line isnt coming anytime soon, If NEL goes down how? Punggol really dont have any buses heading far west or even CBD except for City Direct Services but those only serve during peak hours. The new express service can be like Punggol > Sengkang > Buangkok > Expressway > CBD > To Areas in the West. If this does come, some CDS can cut and redeploy to this new service. It will really help commuters in the North East and Help relieve demand of NEL. 506 can then maybe amend bacl to East Coast. Just a suggestion.
We will talk about it when NEL goes down.
In the event that happen, oh boi…
Haha Just Broke Down. A New Pararell service that follows the NEL is desperately needed. When the NEL went down, 147 gets full to the brim, super packed. Last time SK-SERANGOON got other buses going to the city, now only got 147, if those buses services had remained as they were, the disruption might be able to cope. Either that or better hurry up and announce the Seletar Line. Been under feasibility studies since 2019 and till now, nothing, the Seletar Line at this point is desperately needed, i dont think people in the North East can ill afford more breakdowns without backups.
Maybe 517 under GAS PC-Shenton Way?
I got a feeling 104 is under SBST Serangoon-Eunos bus package that start from Woodleigh to PC instead.
It’s confirmed Go-Ahead…. Everyone has said its a 43M replacement already, please read the older comments, exact route has been mentioned already too
Will bus service 50, 62 & 82 relocated to Punggol Coast as well?
Not sure I hope that PC doesn’t take many svc else there will be parking problem again,The ITH can only accommodate 24 parking lots..
Maybe 8 just nice.Rest stay at Punggol.
It’s pretty much confirmed 104 is a 43M renumber, but rather than turning left at Buangkok Drive, it will go straight (114 route) and then ply the yet to be opened sector.
Hence explains the september launch for 104.
Could LTA consider extending the bus route to northshore straitsview please as there is only 384 at the moment and no bus extended to punggol coast or other areas.
34, 117, 117M have been extended to Punggol Coast Bus Interchange as it has opened on 29th June 2025.
If I remember correctly, 104 does serve internal Northshore estate, but because of road constrictions it only serves one direction (?)
