Bus Service 127 is a trunk route connecting Tampines Central to Tampines Industrial Avenue 5. It primarily serves commuters travelling to the Tampines Wafer Fabrication Park, as well as residents in the Tampines Concourse and Tampines North Drive 1 areas.

Within Tampines Wafer Fabrication Park, the route provides access to industrial facilities such as Vanguard International Semiconductor, T5@Tampines, Siltronic Singapore, and JTC Nanospace @ Tampines.

Historical Background

Service 127 was launched on 18 December 2016 as the 69th new service under the Bus Service Enhancement Programme (BSEP). Its introduction coincided with the opening of Tampines Concourse Bus Interchange and several associated route amendments to enhance connectivity within Tampines.

On 11 October 2020, the route was amended to include serve Tampines North Drive 1, improving access for residents of newly developed Build-to-Order (BTO) flats such as Tampines GreenRidges, Tampines GreenWeave, and Tampines GreenView.
