If I’m not wrong, 243 is the first ever bidirectional feeder service in Singapore. Thereafter, Toa Payoh tried to have it, but was reverted to standard loop service. And then, Punggol, Sembawang and Tengah also tried to have it, and have been able to maintain them until now.
