I strongly think that 39 can extend to Woodlands. Though MRT might be faster, it is good to have more alternatives like more bus services, as your might have seen or know bout the recent train breakdowns and delays, so for bus 39, hope LTA can accept my suggestion one last time, it can terminate at Woodlands Temp Int. Bcoz 969 doesn’t serve too much of Tampines estate making slight inconvenience for people going to Woodlands, but 39 serves larger catchment like Pasir Ris. Tampines and Punggol, it will make residents in these 3 places more convenient without having the need of transferring too much of trunk and feeders. All I am trying to say is that it lessen the inconvenience and have time saving.

max overstretching + ppl can just easily SST to 168 at jalan kayu anyways
MRT from Tampines to Woodlands will take more time than svc 39…
Come July 2026, I feel runtime for 39 is an issue. Should give to Bedok and dual depot under BNDEP and SEDEP.
