Premium 569 serves the housing estates around Punggol Central and Punggol Field with bus connections to the CBD, eliminating the hassle of transferring between different modes of transport. It provides a more convenient alternative route for residents who would otherwise rely on the MRT or other bus routes to reach the city.

This route shares its catchment area with Premium 591 and 731, both of which cover the Punggol – CBD sector at a fare of $4.50.

SBS Transit used to operate one trip during weekday mornings, using a double-decker bus.

Transfer to Aedge Holdings and Route Extension

From 18 Jan 2016, Aedge Holdings took over operations of Premium 569 from SBS Transit. A total of 5 trips are operated on weekdays between 0730hrs and 0830hrs. The terminating stop was extended to Nicoll Highway (Opp Suntec City), while a route extension covered more areas in Punggol East.

Several trip reductions were made subsequently.

Today the premium bus 569 did not show up at all. We had to grab and ended up paying more than $20 as we waited till 8am.
It’s not th first time this service has been so unreliable of late. We should complain to LTA AND make sure they are fined. I have been a Punggol resident for many years since 569 was operated by sbs double decker and was so efficient and.reliable.
The passengers have also s I once dwindled as it cannot be trusted.

Hi, I have a question regarding the use of premium buses. It seems like people only tap the card when getting on to the bus as it is fixed fare, but what if I had been tapping the card when I get off as well? Is that mean I had been charged doubled??
