City Direct Service 668 provides residents of Yio Chu Kang and Ang Mo Kio with greater connectivity to the CBD. The service provides a travel alternative for commuters who relied on the rail network and feeder buses to and from work. The route incorporates an express sector between Ang Mo Kio and the CBD via CTE, Outram Rd and Cantonment Rd.
This is the eighteenth City Direct service to be introduced under the Bus Service Enhancement Programme (BSEP), which provides more options for commuters using stretches of the existing rail lines that experience persistently high ridership, while the ongoing rail enhancement measures are being implemented.
Bus Service 668 was the last City Direct bus service to be handed over from Private Bus Operators to Public Transport Operators. The last evening trip on 11 December 2020 was performed by PC4308G.

Operated under Contract PT233B.
- 2020 (08 Apr – 01 Jun): Temporarily suspended due to Singapore COVID-19 Circuit Breaker Measures.
- 2020 (14 Dec): Operations transferred to SBS Transit Ltd under the Seletar Bus Package

Is there any shuttle bus from Pasir ris/tampines area to Tuas?
Why is the timing for the first bus 668 to town in the morning getting later and later?? Because of that, it got crowded and ended up no available seating!
Pls solve this problem soon.

Any premium or city direct buses that provides services between AMK Ave 3 to Pasir Panjang if I need to reach there by 8am ?
Bus Premium 573 passes by my house Ave 3 bus stop but unfortunately it starts too late a timing.
