City Direct Service 668 provides residents of Yio Chu Kang and Ang Mo Kio with greater connectivity to the CBD. The service provides a travel alternative for commuters who relied on the rail network and feeder buses to and from work. The route incorporates an express sector between Ang Mo Kio and the CBD via CTE, Outram Rd and Cantonment Rd.
This is the eighteenth City Direct service to be introduced under the Bus Service Enhancement Programme (BSEP), which provides more options for commuters using stretches of the existing rail lines that experience persistently high ridership, while the ongoing rail enhancement measures are being implemented.
Bus Service 668 was the last City Direct bus service to be handed over from Private Bus Operators to Public Transport Operators. The last evening trip on 11 December 2020 was performed by PC4308G.

I would suggest that the last CDS Bus Service 668 would be operated by SBST of.
Hi
Would suggest MORE BUSES for all routes especially DURING THE evening peak hours AND EXTEND THE TIME TO maybe 7PM.
The service level is deteriorating significantly. Bus starting out late and commuters have to wait longer and get to work later. Also the bus gets filled up. No seats. Later along the route, some can’t even get on the bus. Why should commuters be paying premium to stand on a bus??
more and more riders are hopping on from Asia Square Shenton Way to/from Ang Mo Kio Ave 10 to/from CBD (via Outram not Orchard) so suggest more bus routes for this
The interval between first and second bus in the morning is like 5 mins. Why? I thought it should be 10 mins.
