Bus Service 967 is a trunk route connecting housing estates and local amenities around Woodlands, Marsiling, and Woodlands South. The route serves Woodlands Ave 3, Woodlands St 41, Woodlands Ave 1 and Woodlands Dr 17, with connections to Woodlands Regional Centre, Marsiling MRT and Woodlands South MRT.

This service was introduced under the Bus Connectivity Enhancement Programme (BCEP), a scheme launched in 2024 that facilitated the introduction of new bus services and the enhancement of existing bus services. Apart from serving new and upcoming HDB BTO estates and condominiums in Woodlands South (e.g. HDB Champions Green, HDB Champions Bliss, HDB Woodlands South Plains, Norwood Grand condo), Bus Service 967 opens up new intra-town connections, between Woodlands South and Marsiling via Woodlands Avenue 1 thereby boosting connectivity within the Woodlands estate. Bus Service 912M was withdrawn in tandem with the introduction of this service.

Major schools and amenities served by this service include:

  • Woodlands Regional Centre (Causeway Point / Woods Square)
  • Woodlands Stadium / Woodlands Sports Hall
  • Marsiling Mall
  • Marsiling Point
  • Woodlands Polyclinic
  • Singapore American School
  • Fuchun Primary School
  • Fuchun Secondary School
  • The Woodgrove Mall
  • Si Ling Primary School
  • Woodgrove Primary School
  • Woodgrove Secondary School
  • ACE The Place Community Club
  • Woodlands Health Campus
  • Christ Church Secondary School
  • Innova Primary School

Despite running entirely within the Woodlands estate, it is classified as a trunk service, not a feeder bus service.

Is it a good idea to extend SMRT Bus 967 from Woodlands to Punggol as Punggol has a lack of connectivity to create a more direct route from Punggol to Woodlands?

Maybe the reason they classify 967 as trunk is because they have planned extension, like 860 originally being only in Yishun town, but classified as trunk, then later extend to YCK

No, goodness do I really have to repeat again?!
967 is classified as trunk because WAS SMRT DECISION!!!
967 was originally supposed to be feeder, but SMRT insist of classify as trunk for the very stupid reason that SMRT wants all feeders to be in WITH, but 967 must start from WTBI cos WITH no space.

        Because 181 IS extending!

Have you not heard the intel from enthus within LTA??

181 is extending to Tengah! It’s in the LTA final plans! (Side note 171 & 174 are plan also)
The end point is unconfirmed but the plan is to Tengah

Um, 6 cannot be classified as a feeder…? 😅 Its an industrial route.
112 is formed from feeders merging, so I think LTA wanted classify as trunk
            Ditto 113
114 crosses the Sengkang & Hougang official boundaries (which is along Buangkok Lk)
115 was introduced as a fill the gap service and was temporary (thus classify as feeder prob wasn’t suited), until they decided to keep it.
            127 ditto 6
403 wasn’t classified as Parks route until rebranding, so it still is a trunk today
882 was a gap filler to replace 167 deleted sectors. Just like 84.
            964 ditto 127 & 6. Plus, 964 & 6 crosses the town boundaries, so classify as trunk

            Hope I answered your questions!

Don’t think so. Because Tengah bus interchange only have SBST and Tower Transit office. There’s no SMRT office.

SMRT can share an office with SBS any problem with that.
