Circle Line Train Service Delay – Signal Fault (21 May)

On Friday 21 May 2021, Circle Line train services between Lorong Chuan & Farrer Road were delayed during the Morning Peak hours due to a Signal Fault which occurred at the start of service hours.
Free Bus Bridging service was activated.
Timeline –
- 5:21 – Additional 15 minutes travelling time between Lorong Chuan – Caldecott
- 5:27 – Free regular bus services activated between Paya Lebar – Buona Vista
- 5:41 – Additional 30 minutes travelling time on Circle Line
- 5:51 – Additional 30 minutes travelling time between Bartley – Botanic Gardens
- 6:04 – Free bridging buses activated between Paya Lebar – Buona Vista
- 6:11 – Additional 30 minutes travelling time on Circle Line
- 6:25 – Additional 30 minutes travelling time between Lorong Chuan – Farrer Road
- 7:15 – Train service progressively returning to normal
- 7:30 – Train service resumed. Free regular bus services & bridging buses ceased
