A series of works will take place on the Sengkang LRT Line (SKLRT) from Sunday 19 April 2026 to Saturday 3 October 2026.

These works are to connect new reception tracks from the expanded Sengkang LRT Depot to the existing mainline, which involves:

Heavy modification of the existing track
Connect the new reception tracks to existing track,
Installation and testing of signalling systems and equipment

As a result, there will be no train service on the Sengkang LRT West Inner Loop (Sengkang → Cheng Lim → Renjong → Sengkang).

Originally planned to take place till Sunday 18 October 2026, train services were announced to resume earlier on Sunday 4 October 2026 by the Land Transport Authority on 2 October 2026.
