Cos the ridership has been declined after Downtown line station open. One of the major connection is between Ave 7 and Ave 2. They are trying all ways now to bring up the ridership which include the next amendment

I hope they amend one of 14/69/168/222 to Ave 2 to compensate – not good for a minor road to lose a bus service.

225 does not turn to Bedok north road. 228 is a good candidate, since the bus stops it will skip is not the purpose for commuters to take this service from the Bedok interchange

Bad choice for 228. Most elderly from Bedok Reservoir Road always drops off at the post office bus stop where the wet market is. And it will make 228 even more crowded as there is only one bus left from bedok reservoir to bedok interchange (since 66 amendment)
I suggest 69 as the best option.
